Prepare Your Heart for Christ with Bishop Barron’s Advent Reflections

,

Advent is almost here! It’s a special time on the church calendar—a season of hopeful, active waiting for the celebration of Christ’s birth.

It’s tempting to think of Advent as a passive waiting period, but it is anything but! Instead, it’s a powerful liturgical season where we are called to yearn, search, and actively reach out for God. It’s a time of holy reflection, prayer, and renewal as we prepare our hearts for the coming of our Lord.

Join Our “Advent Gospel Reflections” Study

This year at Christ Church Anglican, we invite you to deepen your spiritual preparation by joining our study based on Bishop Robert Barron’s Advent Gospel Reflections.

Each day in the booklet features a Gospel reading and a short, insightful commentary. During our weekly sessions, we will ponder the questions raised by Bishop Barron and discuss how these reflections can shape our lives and faith as we move toward Christmas.

How to Join and Get Your Booklet

We want to make this study accessible to everyone, so we encourage you to join us in person or online on the dates listed below!

You do not need to have the booklet to participate. However, if you would like a personal copy, Christ Church is happy to provide one for you. Please see Heather Prescott to arrange pick-up.
